  • What is EPS?

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is a lightweight, rigid cellular plastic that is made from the polymerisation of styrene monomer.  Styrene, a byproduct of crude oil extraction is also found naturally in foods such as strawberries, nuts and beans.  The polymerisation process produces translucent spherical beads of polystyrene about the size of sugar granules.

For those of you who are environmentally concerned most manufacturers have strict policies.

What's in Your Tool kit?

Hey, guitar care can be one of the most important things you can do to keep your guitar and bass guitar in prestine condition for ease of playing. I am a lazy player I have become passionate about have my instrument in prime playing condition at all times. Even then you may run into some problems on stage.Things break, and I don't mean just strings. One of my students lost the nut that holds the output jack in place. Everytime he wanted to plus a cable into his guitar the jack would fall in to the body cavity. Until he gets another nut that fits, he could take off the backing to the electronics and manually plug in his cable by holding the jack from the inside and duct taping the cable in place for the show. If you do the duct tape thing make sure you get Goo Gone to remove the glue when you take off the duct tape.

So here are some things to remember when playing out. Always have a stocked took kit.In your kit keep all the basics like a spare set of strings. A string winder, A wire cutter, an allen wrench set (metric & American)  A needle nose pliers, phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver, super glue, duct tape, cleaning cloth and guitar cleaning products. Batteries and your tuner w/ cable.
