My name is Gina Balducci. I have been playing the guitar for about (at the risk of dating myself) 40 years and the bass guitar for about 35 years. (I started at a very young age...) I am educated through private instruction and self instruction. For the past 20 years I have been performing professionally. I have been teaching guitar, bass and music theory full time for the past 4 years. I average between 45 and 50 students per week. I teach all styles for bass and stick to Acoustic folk, rock and pop for the guitar. My music theory method is based upon pracitcal use in your everyday playing to formal theory (if you so choose to dig that deep) for students to improve in music class or who are preparing for college. I have found that music lessons have greatly increased concentration levels in my students and they are excelling in other areas of their studies and life.
KEEP THE MUSIC IN YOUR LIFE!
Here are some starter kits and some method books to get you playing. I recommend that you find a good teacher as soon as possible. In the mean time you can email me with questions.
These Books are pretty easy to use. Seek help from your teacher to make the right choices.
